Every so often, an evening comes along that is less about business and more about a bigger idea. Building Bharat: The Gujarat Chapter 2026 is one of those evenings, and we’re glad to say that DEK & Mavericks Green Energy Limited is joining it as the official Energy Partner.

If you haven’t heard of it yet, Building Bharat is an invitation-only gathering organized by 94.3 MY FM, part of the Dainik Bhaskar Group. It brings together industry pioneers, visionaries, and thought leaders for one evening of honest conversation about what it actually takes to build a stronger nation. It’s set for 26th August 2026 at The Leela in Gandhinagar, and it’s less like a conference and more like a room full of people who are each shaping a different part of India’s story, sitting down together to talk about where things are headed.
What Being Energy Partner Means
So what does it mean for us to be the Energy Partner? In simple terms, it means we get to represent the energy side of that story. Our name and our work will be part of the evening from start to finish, and we’ll have a seat in the room when the conversation turns to how India keeps the lights on and the wheels turning as it grows. That matters more than it might sound like at first. Almost everything else people talk about at an event like this, whether it’s new industries, new cities, or new opportunities, needs energy underneath it to actually happen.

This partnership comes at a good time for us. We’ve been growing steadily, and not just in the usual sense of adding more projects to a list. We recently expanded into Uttar Pradesh, taking on work across several key cities there, and we’ve been strengthening our leadership team so we’re ready for what comes next. Being asked to stand as Energy Partner for something like Building Bharat feels like a natural next step in that journey. It gives us a chance to talk about clean energy in a way that feels real, not as some far-off policy goal, but as something that shows up in people’s daily lives, in their homes, their businesses, and their cities.
Why Gujarat Makes Sense
There’s also something fitting about doing this in Gujarat specifically. The state has set some genuinely ambitious renewable energy targets, and it’s already made real progress toward them, with large solar parks, wind projects, and battery storage initiatives coming up across different districts. Gujarat has treated clean energy less like a talking point and more like something to actually build, and that’s the kind of attitude we relate to as a company. Standing in a room in Gandhinagar, talking to people who already understand why clean energy matters, is a different kind of conversation than we might have elsewhere. It’s a room that gets it, and that makes the conversation more useful for everyone involved.

For us, this partnership means more than just a logo on a banner for one evening.
